Tinkers Bubble - Getting Here

Please don't just show up at Tinkers Bubble unannounced, expecting to be shown round or to come and stay, as we are usually busy either working the land or preparing the communal meal. Please get in touch via email or come to our open day.

Public Transport

There are no buses on Sundays.

Trains will either take you to Yeovil Pen Mill (which is about a mile from the bus station) or Yeovil Junction (which is about 2 miles walk, without a footpath, from the bus station). If walking, ask for directions to the bus station, or there is a bus service running between the train stations and the bus station, if you don't want to walk it.

From Yeovil bus station, take the number 81 (South Petherton) bus to Norton Sub Hamdon (Last bus at 6pm.). Walk on in the same direction as the bus continues in, and turn left at the post office. Follow the the road past the Lord Nelson, up the hill, and turn left at the top (Greenham Cross).

Follow the road down the hill, and turn right at the dead end sign, before the road goes back up the hill. Ignore the first turning on the right, signed "Bagnell Farm". Our car park is on the left just beyond the "Bagnell Farm" turning.

Follow the track from the car park past the steam-sawmill barn and up the path to the conifers at the top of the hill.

By car

Please try to use public transport to minimise your emissions. If you are coming to our open day by car, please park in Norton Car Park on the top of Ham Hill and walk down:
